Before pink, there was peach.
Charlotte Haley was a housewife and community volunteer. In the early 1990s, frustrated by how little funding cancer research was receiving, she sat at her kitchen table and folded a simple ribbon to pin onto a piece of card stock.
The ribbon was peach. Her favorite color. Before pink became synonymous with the cause, peach was the original — quieter, less commercial, rooted in a single person who decided to do something.
We named our firm after that ribbon. Because the families who walk into our partner firms aren't looking for a brand. They're looking for someone who remembers what this is actually for.
